What exactly is RunningCharts?
In simplest terms - RunningCharts is a running log. If you are looking to maintain a comprehensive journal of your run history - distance, duration, pace, shoes, heart rate, notes, etc - you have come to the right place. Once you sign up, you can start using it in a matter of seconds.

However, we take things a couple steps further than the traditional running log. We have integrated with the most popular running watches, and have developed charting graphics and features which have never been seen before by a web-based running log. This enables watch owners to separate from the Windows software packaged with their watch, and enjoy the freedom of a web-based solution. Your runs can now be entered from a variety of different sources, while you benefit from the great advantages and features which accompany a truly web-based solution.

In summary, even if you have no plans for a running watch, you should still see all the features you would expect in an online running log here - laid out in a clean and simple format, and completely FREE. And if you already own a running watch, or are just thinking about it, you will soon realize this is definitely THE place to be for maintaining your new web-based running log.

Where can I see a quick Demo of the running log?
You may want to start by just browsing the images in our TOUR below. Or, you can jump directly into our "read-only" DEMO ACCOUNT, by clicking HERE

Is RunningCharts REALLY 100% free - what is the catch?
There is No Catch This truly is a free running log. This does not mean it’s simply a free trial, or free until we decide to start charging. If you sign up now, we assure you - you will always have free access to all the features which currently exist on the site. Yes - eventually you are likely to see some Ads, but we are committed to ensuring this has minimal impact on our current layout.

Is RunningCharts data portable if I decide later to use something else?
Yes, your running log data is YOUR data. We don’t expect you to marry yourself to RunningCharts. We are committed to having adequate export features so you can move or copy your data at will. If any of our built-in export features do not suffice, just let us know what you need and we can likely provide that format for you.

Do I need to Download anything?
There is nothing to download - RunningCharts is a Web-based (Browser-based) Application, you can be signed up and using it in seconds. Just say "NO" to downloaded software. Don’t be fooled by other websites and training logs, which tout great features like RunningCharts, until you realize that you are required to DOWNLOAD (and install) a Windows-based application. Not only does this clutter up your computer, but it will ONLY work on YOUR computer, along with several other key drawbacks and limitations.

What some of our users say
"I love the freedom of running with my Garmin. But when I know there may be GPS obstructions, I rely on my Suunto as a great system for Pace and HR. Or, sometimes I end up running without a watch and still want to log the run. And I love the Polar Software, and RunningAhead web log. This was a HUGE dilemma until I found RunningCharts.com

Now I have the BEST OF ALL WORLDS - ALL MY DATA at 1 location - THE WEB !
And the charts are spectacular - even better than the Windows programs I have used.
